Job Description:

Help Desk Technician

The company's solutions are designed to help retailers maintain a competitive edge, while improving productivity and customer service. Complete services are provided for end-to-end support and advice on the right technologies, products, programming, integration and deployment strategies that work.

Will take phone calls from field technicians installing point-of-sale equipment into retail locations nationally. This person will interact with the other help desk members, the field personnel, and will have ongoing interaction with the customer's help desk personnel. The candidate will need to be versed in the following:

Responsibilities include:


  • The ability to guide field technicians through on-site questions or issues from a technical perspective

  • Point-of-sale knowledge and/or experience is beneficial but not necessary

  • Some networking experience

  • Excel (Must know at a high level and have used recently)

  • Outlook

  • Good communicator (oral and written)

  • Record information received from technicians into Excel spreadsheets

  • Able to evaluate and resolve problems within their responsibilities

  • Handle multiple tasks at the same time.

  • Self-motivated

  • Highly organized
    Detailed oriented

  • Professional

  • Learns new skills easily

  • Team orientated

  • Very patient

  • Strong Listening skills


This shift works a blend of the following:

  • M – Th 10/10:30am – 8pm

  • M – F 11am – 7/8pm



In addition to these hours as possibilities, may need to work a later shift that would go in to night/overnight hours.


Note: Although a technical background is sought in all applying candidates, the most valued skills for this position will be help desk experience, and the ability to document information and communicate it to various team members.
